Premier League: Heart of Lions stay perfect as Medeama slip, Vision secure first win

Heart of Lions extended their flawless start to the season to climb to the top of the table, while Medeama dropped to fourth following an away defeat. Heart of Lions 1–0 Bechem United: Heart of Lions maintained their perfect start to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign with a narrow but deserved 1-0 victory over Bechem United at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Michael Ephson’s decisive strike in the 59th minute proved the difference, sending Bashir Hayford’s men to the summit of the table with a maximum nine points from three matches. Vision FC 2–0 Hohoe United: Vision FC earned their first win of the season with a comfortable 2-0 triumph over top-flight newcomers Hohoe United at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema. After a heavy defeat at Medeama last week, Vision struck twice in quick succession—Nana Kusi Asante converting a 54th-minute penalty before Emmanuel Sanja added a second two minutes later. The result lifts the Tema-based club to seventh, while Hohoe United remain in search of their first Premier League win.
